Laughlin hosts many yearly and special events. Whether it's thePioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall Boat Dock Laughlin Desert Challenge, our famous Laughlin, NV Fourth of July Celebration or the Laughlin River Run, aka Biker Weekend, there is always "Fun in the Sun" when visiting Laughlin, Nevada.

Laughlin, NV is virtually crime free but, we suggest you read the Las Vegas Metro Police Department's safety tips which apply anytime.

  • Where is Laughlin, Nevada?

Laughlin is located in the southeastern most corner of Clark County, Nevada, bordering Arizona and California. Laughlin is a growing gaming community, which lies on the banks of the Colorado River.

  • Transportation to Laughlin

Many of the Hotel and Casinos are affiliated with transportation companies. Call the hotels and ask if they have transportation from your area. Checking with your local travel agencies and bus companies is another way to find transportation to Laughlin, Nevada. Here are a few that we have found:

Air Service: *Editor's note: Flying to Laughlin/Bullhead City Intl. Airport (IFP) is not available from all destinations. Most travelers will have to fly to Las Vegas then make their way to Laughlin via, bus, shuttle, or rent-a-car. Hitch-hiking not recommended :)

*Fly to Vegas, drive to Laughlin. The best deal we have found is to fly to Las Vegas on Southwest Air, then rent a new vehicle from Fox Rent-a-Car at McCarren Airport (Las Vegas' Airport).

Besides driving to Laughlin, the best, least expensive, way to get here is to fly to Las Vegas, NV then catch a shuttle service or rent a car. Laughlin is 90 miles south of Las Vegas. It is a scenic drive throughFlamingo Laughlin and Edgewater Casinos desert terrain on a four lane highway (NV 95).

Driving to Laughlin is very easy from McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. From the airport drive east on Tropicana Blvd to the US 515 freeway. Go south 10 miles to NV 95. Clearly marked signs to Laughlin and Needles, CA will direct you south through the towns of Searchlight, NV and Cal-Nev-Ari, NV. 5 miles south of Cal-Nev-Ari you will turn left (east) on NV State Rt 163, near the Gas Station and Casino billboards.. Drive 21 more miles east and you're in Laughlin. Travel time is approx 1 hr and 30 minutes.
